Smart & Biggar's Yoon Kang named 2014 Canadian Patent Non-Contentious Attorney of the Year by LMG Life Sciences

Smart & Biggar is pleased to announce that LMG Life Sciences has named Yoon Kang Canadian Patent Non-Contentious Attorney of the Year at the 2014 LMG Life Sciences Awards ceremony, held on September 17, 2014 in New York City. She is the only lawyer in Canada to receive this prominent recognition.

We are also honoured to have received the award for Canadian Patent Non-contentious Firm of the Year for the second year in a row.

The LMG Life Sciences Awards recognize the leading attorneys, firms and in-house counsel teams, which have played a significant role in the life sciences industry over the past year. The award categories are linear to the practice areas associated with this year’s edition of LMG Life Sciences.

The 2014 Canada Chapter of LMG Life Sciences has honoured Smart & Biggar as a highly recommended firm in the areas of Intellectual Property: Non-contentious and Intellectual Property: Contentious.
