Adam works with clients facing IP disputes to identify the key legal and commercial issues in play and the client’s goals. He assists his clients in deciding upon a suitable litigation strategy and implements that strategy to achieve the client’s goals and objectives.

Decades of success in resolving contentious IP matters

Adam has in-depth experience litigating patents, trademarks, copyrights and industrial design cases before the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal. He has helped clients resolve hundreds of contentious IP matters by settlement or a successful decision on the merits. He is also a registered trademark agent and practices before the Trademarks Opposition Board.

With a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and over 30 years of experience as a litigator, he leverages his technical training and legal expertise to effectively resolve complex patent disputes, across a broad range of industries, including herbicides, oil field equipment, plastics, consumer products, construction machinery and agricultural equipment.

Adam is a frequent speaker at IP conferences on topics related to patent litigation. He serves as an ongoing organizing committee member for Fox Moot.
