Patricia has over 25 years of experience in chemistry‑focused patent drafting, prosecution and portfolio strategy. With a deep scientific foundation, including a PhD in Chemistry from McGill University and post‑doctoral research at Yale University, Patricia brings both technical clarity and strategic insight to every engagement. She has a strong track record of helping startups and established innovators leverage their patents to secure licensing and commercial opportunities. She is known for working closely and collaboratively with inventors to build strong patent protection that supports technology commercialization and helps innovative products reach the people who can benefit from them.

With experience working in‑house at both a Canadian biopharmaceutical company and a major research university, Patricia brings a practical understanding of how discoveries move from the lab to commercialization and technology transfer. Her specialized experience in small molecule patentability and freedom to operate searches enables Patricia to provide unique insight to companies looking to protect and sell their products and attract partners and investors.
She works with a broad mix of innovators, from pharmaceutical companies and universities to organizations developing polymers, food and beverage products, clean technologies and chemical formulations.
