Smart & Biggar welcomes Kwan T. Loh as Counsel in our Vancouver office
Smart & Biggar is pleased to announce that Kwan T. Loh has rejoined the firm as Counsel in our Vancouver office. Previously, Kwan articled and spent three years as an associate at the firm’s Ottawa office.
Kwan has been practising in the trademark field for over 10 years. His practice spans a wide range of trademark prosecution matters, including brand clearance, filing and prosecuting trademark applications in Canada, and portfolio strategy and management in Canada and around the world. Kwan’s practice also encompasses contentious trademark matters, including brand enforcement via trademark infringement, opposition and cancellation proceedings. Additionally, Kwan advises on IP-related contracts including licenses, assignments and other commercial agreements.
Kwan has been responsible for protecting in Canada some of the world’s most valuable brands, and he works with clients in a wide variety of fields, including high-tech companies, internet companies, industrial manufacturers, online retailers, food and beverage companies and hospitality companies.
