Coralee is an articling student in our Toronto office. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa.

With a strong background in chemistry, Coralee is eager to apply her expertise to support issues involving emerging technologies and is passionate about deepening her understanding of the legal principles that protect innovation.

Before entering law school, Coralee worked as a chemist for six years, where she executed routine and complex syntheses, researched and developed surfactants and wrote technical reports and standard operating procedures. This hands-on experience has given her a practical understanding of the research and development process, which she is committed to leveraging as she builds her legal expertise in intellectual property law.

Coralee looks forward to gaining experience in all areas of intellectual property at Smart & Biggar.
