Smart & Biggar welcomes Patrick Roszell as Counsel in Toronto
Smart & Biggar is pleased to announce that Patrick Roszell has rejoined the firm as Counsel. Patrick spent five years as an associate at the firm, and is returning to the Patents group in Toronto.
Patrick has been practicing for close to a decade counselling clients on the creation, protection and management of intellectual property rights, including patents, industrial designs and trademarks.
In his practice Patrick focuses on patent prosecution and strategy, including drafting patent applications and providing patentability, infringement and freedom to operate opinions. His broad range of expertise includes computer hardware and software, telecommunications, power generation, oil and gas, manufacturing, and medical devices.
Patrick also provides strategic guidance in the development and management of IP portfolios and in establishing practices to identify and exploit IP opportunities. His clients - who range from large multinational corporations to technology start-ups - trust him to bring a pragmatic approach to delivering commercially valuable and cost-effective solutions.
We are pleased to welcome Patrick back to Smart & Biggar.
