Smart & Biggar recognized by The Globe and Mail among Canada’s Best Law Firms 2026

Smart & Biggar was recognized for the fifth time on The Globe and Mail’s list of Canada’s Best Law Firms. This consecutive recognition, presented by The Globe and Mail and Statista, reinforces the firm’s reputation as a law firm that is respected amongst peers and valued by clients.

Canada’s best law firms were selected based on recommendations made by lawyers (peer-to-peer survey) and clients (corporate legal departments) in 31 different fields of law. Lawyers and in-house legal executives working in legal departments of companies across Canada were invited to participate in the survey. The top 200 law firms in Canada were identified based on the number of recommendations received.
