France is an accomplished patent expert and legal advisor who joins our Life Sciences practice group. With over 25 years of experience, she specializes in patent prosecution, client counselling, and patent portfolio growth and utilization.
As a leader in her field, France regularly advises clients on biotechnology related innovations, turning their inventions into market value. With her scientific background as a biochemist, she expertly captures the essence of an invention and adeptly explains patent concepts. Drawing from her in-depth experience having worked as in-house patent agent at several biotech companies, and with the Canadian Government, she holds a critical perspective on the patent-related concerns and challenges of corporations, allowing her to provide informed strategic advice. She is committed to understanding her clients’ priorities and corporative objectives and provides clarity in order to achieve their goals and navigate every stage of the patent protection process.
