Smart & Biggar sponsors the 16th annual Harold G. Fox IP Moot competition for law students

Smart & Biggar is proud to continue its sponsorship of the Annual Harold G. Fox IP Moot. This year’s moot will take place from February 23 to 24, 2024, in Toronto.

On Friday, February 23, Principal Jean-Sébastien Dupont will participate virtually. Associate Reagan Seidler will participate in person to judge this year’s teams.

In its 16th year, The Harold G. Fox Moot promotes the furtherance of education in the intellectual property field and provides law students with the opportunity to present arguments for a ‘case problem’ and interact with jurists of the Supreme Court and the Ontario and Federal Courts, experienced IP practitioners and litigators from the intellectual property bar. It is named in honour of the late Harold G. Fox, one of Canada’s leading intellectual property scholars and advocates.
