Smart & Biggar partners with Invest Ottawa to provide IP expertise and education to local innovators
Smart & Biggar is proud to announce that our popular IP masterclasses and IP clinics are taking place once again this year in partnership with Invest Ottawa. We are pleased to offer our continued support for local start-ups, entrepreneurs and early-stage companies.
On May 4, Smart & Biggar will launch our IP Masterclass series and host the first virtual masterclass: “IP Strategy for Software”. This is available exclusively to members of the Invest Ottawa Community. In this webinar, partner Jeff Leuschner will review the “IP toolkit”, a collection of IP rights most applicable when evaluating the innovations of software companies.
In the spirit of helping Canadian companies understand the importance of IP strategy and awareness as part of their business plan, the firm is thrilled to renew this partnership with Invest Ottawa who is committed to empowering Ottawa entrepreneurs and innovators. Together, we are able to provide virtual masterclasses and IP clinics, introducing valuable IP guidance and tools designed to help companies understand the value of IP strategy and how to better leverage IP to scale up in a competitive market.
More IP Masterclasses and clinics will be available for registration soon.
