Ridout & Maybee to join Smart & Biggar
Canada’s leading Intellectual Property (IP) firm, Smart & Biggar, has today announced it is combining with fellow Canadian IP firm, Ridout & Maybee to create one larger firm operating under the Smart & Biggar brand.
Smart & Biggar and Ridout & Maybee are complementary businesses in terms of their highly experienced teams, strong heritage and quality clients.
Smart & Biggar Managing Director, Matthew Zischka, said the combination would provide benefits for both firms, their people and clients.

The transaction is expected to complete on 29 September 2023. Until completion, each firm will operate independently.
