Navigating complex litigation matters with strategic IP solutions

Lambert Beaulac is an associate in our Montréal office with a practice focused on IP litigation. Lambert is a diligent and thorough litigator with an eye for detail. He provides tailored solutions for his clients through identifying their business needs and objectives in order to deliver the best possible outcomes.

During his legal studies, Lambert was named on the Dean’s List (2018) and was the recipient of the Prize for Excellence in Legal Writing, issued by the Faculty of Law of the University of Sherbrooke. He participated in the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada (2018), a competition that simulates the salary arbitration procedures used in the National Hockey League (NHL) providing participants with an opportunity to sharpen their oral and written advocacy skills. He was also a member of a number of programs, including: the CDAI Executive Committee (Business and Investment Law), mentor for Pennydrops (Jeunesse Enrichie), a student-run non-profit organization that champions financial literacy among Canadian youth and participated in a Legal clinic within TransferTech Sherbrooke, the office in charge of the development and promotion of intellectual property from the University of Sherbrooke.

Lambert had a passion for business from early on which sparked his interest to pursue a career in law and in particular, a career in intellectual property law. He selected a program that combined an LL.B. and MBA to develop a strong legal and business background to address innovative business projects and the associated legal aspects. Lambert gained invaluable experience as a business strategy consultant as part of his master’s degree.

Before joining the firm as an associate, Lambert articled at Smart & Biggar in 2022, and was a coop student in the Montréal office in 2020.
