In her day-to-day role, Andrea leads Smart & Biggar’s operation teams across our multiple offices. Working closely with the firm’s executives and leadership team, Andrea ensures a seamless and efficient process for meeting client needs.
Over the course of her career Andrea has evolved with the needs of the intellectual property industry to develop a level of expertise that prepared her to lead the trademark practice at Smart & Biggar for a number of years, manage the Canadian and foreign docketing departments, the communications team, the Ottawa foreign paralegal team and now the operations team nationally.
A passionate and understanding leader of a diverse team of IP specialists, Andrea is continuously working to improve the experience of both clients and staff. She is known by colleagues for her positivity and for her ability to find efficiencies while empowering team members to achieve the best results for clients.
