Alexandra combines her knowledge and experience with patent prosecution with a dedication to empowering her team members to achieve the best results for our clients. During her ten years at Smart & Biggar, she has progressed through a variety of business services roles involving client onboarding and patent administration.
In her day-to-day role, Alexandra manages our team of patent legal administrators in our ElCT team and works collaboratively with Operations Managers and Team Leaders across Canada to ensure that client and team needs are met seamlessly. She supports team members in their professional growth and development while simultaneously handling and resolving workflow issues and implementing new processes and procedures.
Alexandra is admired by colleagues and practitioners alike for her positivity and strong commitment to firm culture and as an active leader in our Diversity & Inclusion Committee and organizer of local social events and fundraisers for the firm’s Ottawa office including the firm’s marathon team.
