Alexandra Vas is a summer student in Smart & Biggar’s Montréal office. She has completed her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School and her LL.B. at the University of Montréal.
Alexandra’s sciences background has driven her to possess a keen interest in the field of intellectual property and the protection of innovation. That interest has fuelled her success in moot court competitions. She showcased her exceptional legal skills at the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot in 2023. In 2024, Alexandra participated in the Laskin Moot, clinching the First Place Factum Award.
Alexandra wrote for the University of Montréal student newspaper Le Pigeon Dissident and was the President of the Diversity Committee at the Faculty of Law. As a Pro Bono Student at the Saint-Michel Legal Clinic (2022-2023) and Law in Action Within Schools (2025), Alexandra provided invaluable legal assistance to those in need.
Alexandra looks forward to joining Smart & Biggar as a summer student and is eager to collaborate with leaders in the field.
