Keltie Sim Luft and Jamie-Lynn Kraft attend the 33nd MARQUES annual conference
Two members of Smart & Biggar’s trademark practice, Partner, Keltie Sim Luft, and Senior Associate, Jamie-Lynn Kraft, will travel to Dublin, Ireland to attend the MARQUES annual conference from September 17-20, 2019.
This year’s MARQUES conference looks at how legal and regulatory developments, politics and technology are driving change in brands, and how brand owners and IP practitioners can navigate the impact. Main topics of discussion at the conference will include: megatrends, the impact of global developments on IP; trends in damages awards; evidence of disclosure; and tax havens.
In addition to panels, speakers and interactive workshops, the WIPO, EUIPO and CJEU will provide additional updates on their latest developments.
