Olivier advises clients on complex intellectual property matters, with a focus on trademarks, enforcement, litigation, geographical indications and internet law.  

He works with domestic and international clients across a broad range of industries, collaborating closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver coordinated, business-aligned solutions. His practical and commercially focused approach helps clients protect valuable IP assets, manage risk and resolve sophisticated disputes with efficiency and strategic clarity. 

Olivier is recognized as one of Canada’s leading practitioners in geographical indications (appellations d’origine contrôlée). He serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian chapter of the International Wine Law Association (AIDV) and is frequently invited to speak at industry conferences in Canada and internationally on geographical indications and emerging issues in intellectual property law. 

He also has significant experience advising on internet-related IP issues, including online infringement and brand protection. Clients seek him out for his ability to respond quickly and effectively to digital enforcement challenges, helping them protect their rights and commercial interests in fast-moving online environments.
