5 Smart & Biggar lawyers attend IPO Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Smart & Biggar partners, Daphne Lainson, Nancy Pei, Matthew Zischka and Jean-Sébastien Dupont, with associate, Artemis Lai, will travel to Washington, D.C. this week to attend the 47th Annual Meeting of the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO), from September 24 to 26, 2019.

Our lawyers will be on site to meet with IP professionals from law firms and in-house practice, as well as peers in government, academia and service providers from around the world to discuss strategies, trends and best practices.

IPO advocates for effective and affordable IP ownership rights and provides a wide array of services to members, including supporting member interests relating to legislative and international issues; analyzing current IP issues; information and educational services; and disseminating information to the general public on the importance of intellectual property rights.
