Smart & Biggar recognized at the 11th annual LMG Life Sciences Awards Americas 2023

Smart & Biggar is proud to share that the firm has been named ‘Canadian Patent Strategy Firm of the Year’ at the 11th annual LMG Life Sciences Awards Americas 2023. The awards ceremony took place last night in New York City, and Principal David Schwartz was in attendance to accept the award on behalf of the firm.

This marks the fifth time that the firm has received this recognition. Smart & Biggar provides life sciences innovators with unmatched expertise across the patent lifecycle from initial patent prosecution, and regulatory approvals, to IP transactions and licensing, enforcement and litigation to maximize protection leading up to the loss of exclusivity.

Following an extensive research period, the LMG Life Sciences team has selected finalists each year to highlight the best in the life sciences legal sector across four main practice areas: financial & corporate, intellectual property, non-IP litigation and regulatory. The LMG Life Sciences Awards are presented to firms, individuals and companies behind the most innovative and challenging Life Sciences work of the past year.
