Smart & Biggar hosts the AIPLA ‘Women in IP’ Networking dinner in Calgary

On April 4th, Smart & Biggar proudly hosted “Creating Opportunities Through Connections,” a “Women in IP” networking event in Calgary, in partnership with the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
Smart & Biggar partner Christine Genge, with Laura Easton, Artemis Lai and Iasha Chaudhry, hosted women from IP, law and technology for an evening of networking and cocktails followed by dinner at popular Calgary restaurant, Two Penny. Attendees sat down to a three-course meal, complete with a signature cocktail, and engaged in lively discussion, connecting personally and professionally.
With the AIPLA, Smart & Biggar shares a goal to inspire and empower. By supporting women in IP the firm recognizes the tremendous contributions and achievements of women in the innovation, creative, science, math, business and technology spheres.
