Smart & Biggar connects with leaders in innovation and technology at OCE Discovery

Smart & Biggar is looking forward to exhibiting at OCE Discovery, Canada’s leading innovation-to-commercialization conference. Hosted by Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE), Discovery is a showcase of leading-edge technologies, best practices and research from sectors such as health, manufacturing, digital media and cleantech.

Partner Ron Faggetter and Counsel Patrick Roszell, both from the firm’s Toronto office, will participate in “Ask an Expert/Meet an Investor” sessions, where delegates connect with experts in the areas of investing, entrepreneurship, support for innovation, and international trade. Patrick and Ron will connect with small and medium-sized businesses and individuals to provide advice and mentoring in the intellectual property matters that apply in expanding a company or launching an idea/product.

Additionally, partner Matthew Zischka and articling students Karl Qin and Tierney Deluzio will be in attendance to network with key players from industry, academia, government, investors and entrepreneurs.
