Alice Tseng and Kwan T. Loh join faculty of Osgoode Certificate in Cannabis Law and Regulation
Toronto partner Alice Tseng and Vancouver council Kwan T. Loh participate as instructors for the Osgoode Certificate in Cannabis Law and Regulation—a five-day, intensive Osgoode Professional Development certificate providing comprehensive, practical learning focused on cannabis law and regulation in Canada.
Alice and Kwan are joined by legal and cannabis industry leaders in business and law to collectively present a wide-ranging and relevant curriculum to address everything from the foundations of cannabis law and regulation in Canada, to the most topical issues affecting clients in all aspects of the cannabis industry.
Alice, one of Canada’s leading regulatory lawyers, will present “The Regulatory Framework as It Applies to Medical Cannabis” on Wednesday, January 27. She will provide an overview of the medical cannabis regulatory regime, including discussing health products containing cannabis, challenges with cannabis research, use of data analytics and more.
Kwan, who presents on Wednesday, February 3, will discuss “Intellectual Property in the Cannabis Context”. He will share important knowledge regarding trademarks, brand protection and key strategies for protecting IP with course students.
Professional development certificate attendees will include Lawyers in private practice, in-house counsel, senior executives and managers in the Cannabis industry and provincial and federal regulators.
