Smart & Biggar/Fetherstonhaugh repeats Top Tier ranking in Managing Intellectual Property’s World IP Survey

Smart & Biggar/Fetherstonhaugh has once again been ranked in the Top Tier of Canadian patent and trademark firms in all categories relating to intellectual property: patent prosecution, patent contentious, trade mark prosecution, trade mark/copyright contentious.

Now in its 20th year, Managing Intellectual Property offers a unique perspective on IP practice based on the experiences of hundreds of clients and practitioners worldwide. The 2013 World IP Survey is the largest to date and covers 75 jurisdictions around the world. Lawyers may not vote for themselves or any other member of their firm. The results are arranged geographically and then further divided into tiers, with firms in the top tier “regarded as the leaders in their market with the greatest expertise, experience and broadest coverage”, according to the survey’s editors.
