Smart & Biggar chosen for the third year in a row as the Best Canadian IP Firm at The International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards

Smart & Biggar is proud to have been recognized as the Best Canadian IP Firm for 2015 by international publication Leaders League, at The International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards (ILASA). Smart & Biggar was also previously named as the Best Canadian IP Firm in 2013 and 2014.

The award was presented at a ceremony held on June 24th, 2015 in New York City. The ceremony recognizes excellence in the global IP industry and was attended by more than 400 leading IP practitioners from over 40 countries. Smart & Biggar was chosen as the leader in the category for Best Canadian IP Firm amongst 10 other Canadian law firms.

25 specialized jury panels, with a total of 150 General Counsel, elect the winners of each category. Other references such as international rankings, are also used to enhance the selection.
