Jean-Sébastien Dupont and Julien Verneau discuss double patenting as part of Quebec Bar’s Continuing Education program
This Friday, November 15th, Montreal partner, Jean-Sébastien Dupont and associate, Julien Verneau, will take part in “Recent Developments in Intellectual Property Law and Entertainment Law 2019”, presented by Quebec Bar's Continuing Education Department.
Jean-Sébastien and Julien’s presentation will address double patenting, its complex history in Canada and how it has been affected by recent jurisprudence. They will offer a new perspective on double patenting; discuss what it could look like in the future and who could play a role in its evolution.
Theme-based conferences, organized by the Quebec Bar's Continuing Education Department, serve to keep lawyers updated in knowledge of the latest developments in legislation, the development of case law and current trends on the proposed theme.
