Smart & Biggar sees four lawyers recognized in Who’s Who Legal: Life Sciences 2023

Smart & Biggar is proud to announce that four lawyers have been named in the recent Who’s Who Legal: Life Sciences 2023 Global Guide as leaders in life sciences law. Principals of the firm Steven Garland and Sheldon Hamilton are named under Patent Litigation; Alice Tseng is recognized for Regulatory Law; and Nancy Pei is honoured with recognition under both Patent Litigation and Regulatory Law.

Steven Garland has “amassed over 30 years’ experience advising and representing major domestic and multinational companies on all IP-related matters.” Listed as a “Global Elite Thought Leader” he “secures significant commendations with his superb handling of IP matters across a multitude of industries.”

Sheldon Hamilton, leader of Smart & Biggar’s litigation practice, is noted as one of the “top names for life sciences litigation in Canada who regularly advises the major international companies on all IP-related matters.”

Nancy Pei is a litigator and trusted IP and regulatory advisor with unique experience tailored to the needs of innovative life sciences clients.
