Yoon Kang and Kohji Suzuki attend the APAA General Assembly in New Delhi, India

Partners Yoon Kang and Kohji Suzuki will travel to New Delhi, India to join peers at the 18th Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) General Assembly. The General Assembly takes place once every three years at various locations within the Asian Region exclusively for APAA members. The previous General Assembly was held in 2015 in Okinawa, Japan.

Recognized as one of the fastest growing major global economies, India offers conference attendees a glimpse of the big opportunities and challenges facing an important developing nation. The General Assembly allows APAA members to participate in enriching committee meetings, filled with intellectual content, as well as the opportunity to reconnect with friends from around the world and to kindle new friendships with India’s rich culture and charm as a backdrop.

The APAA is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting and enhancing intellectual property protection in the Asian region (including Australia and New Zealand). With its large pool of members and expertise, APAA is well placed to play an influential role in promoting and enhancing intellectual property protection in the Asian Region.
