Four Smart & Biggar lawyers join AIPPI World Congress in London

Smart & Biggar partners, Steven Garland, Sheldon Hamilton and Matthew Zischka, and Senior Associate, Lionel Fishman, travel to London this weekend to participate in the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI) annual World Congress, from September 15-18, 2019.

In addition to each being an active member of AIPPI, Steven is Past President of the Canadian Group, Chairman of the Q199 Attorney-Client Privilege Committee and Member of the Programme Committee, while Matthew is an Executive Council Member of AIPPI Canada and Sheldon is a member of the Q221 Amicus Brief Committee.

The AIPPI World Congress attracts over 2,000 members from around the globe. Recent meeting venues include Cancun, Sydney, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, Toronto and Seoul.
