With over ten years’ experience at Smart & Biggar working on various teams and training new patent assistants, becoming a patent agent was a natural next step for Nancy. As a patent agent, she combines her broad expertise in various aspects of patent procurement and filing with her expanding technical knowledge of the manufacturing, automotive machinery, and consumer and industrial goods sectors.
The variety of technologies Nancy encounters on a daily basis makes for a dynamic, ever-evolving work environment. She must call on her creativity each day, along with her engineering expertise and extensive patent procurement background, to adapt to the needs of her diverse clients.
