Her practice focuses on patent prosecution and general IP matters.
Julia holds a J.D. from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law (Toronto Metropolitan University) and a Bachelor’s of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, with a minor in Technological Entrepreneurship from McGill University. Previously Julia worked at the Technology Transfer office at McGill where she worked directly with researchers to assess patentability and marketability of their inventions.
During her undergrad, Julia was a Schwartz/Reisman Scholar. The scholarship provided her the opportunity to visit Israel to co-develop a comprehensive business plan for a rapid point-of-care diagnostic device.
