Erfan Hosseini is a summer student at Smart & Biggar’s Ottawa office.
He is currently completing a Juris Doctor (French) at the University of Ottawa and holds an Honours BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Ottawa.
During his undergraduate studies, Erfan gained valuable experience with Health Canada (Healthy Environments and Consumer Safety Branch), assessing and prioritizing consumer and industry incident reports, supporting nationwide product recalls, and coordinating referrals involving regulated areas such as medical devices, natural health products, pesticides, and foods.
Erfan is committed to community. He currently serves as a mentor through the University of Ottawa Allies in Law Mentorship Program, supports newcomers through the Afghan Refugee Resettlement Project, and guides undergraduate students pursuing law school admissions.
Erfan is excited to join Smart & Biggar because it offers the ideal environment to combine his scientific training with legal practice.
