Karl’s practice encompasses all aspects of Canadian trademark law, including trademark clearance and prosecution, contentious proceedings before the Trademarks Opposition Board (TMOB), and enforcement and litigation. He works with both Canadian and international clients to secure and defend their trademark rights. He also advises on domain name disputes.
With a background in biomedical sciences, Karl brings a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic insight to his intellectual property practice. His work spans from startups to large multinationals across a diverse range of industries, including sports, entertainment, pharmaceuticals, technology, fashion, automotive, cleantech, food & beverage, healthcare and industrial machinery.
