Smart & Biggar and Daphne Lainson recognized at the 2024 LMG Life Sciences Americas Awards

Smart & Biggar is proud to be named Canadian Patent Strategy Firm of the Year at the 2024 LMG Life Sciences Americas Awards. This marks the sixth time that the firm has received this recognition.

Additionally, Daphne Lainson, Principal and Life Sciences and Chem/Bio Practice Group Leader, was named Canadian Patent Strategy Attorney of the Year. With close to 25 years of experience in law and patent agency and an advanced degree in chemistry, Daphne has been entrusted with protecting inventions across the spectrum of chemical innovation.

The awards ceremony took place last night in New York City, and Daphne was in attendance.

The LMG Life Sciences Americas Awards are presented to firms, individuals and companies behind the most innovative and challenging Life Sciences work of the past year.
