Urszula Wojtyra returns to alma mater to participate in Women and the Law panel discussion
Smart & Biggar partner and University of Toronto Faculty of Law alumni, Urszula Wojtyra, will be a guest panellist at the University of Toronto Women and the Law panel discussion on November 14, 2018.
The lunch time panel will feature women working in the fields of intellectual property and technology and include topics like nature of day-to-day work, career paths available to students and issues relevant to women in IP and technology law. Urszula will also share her experience as a litigator, advisor on regulatory matters and as a partner in a leading boutique firm.
Women & the Law, University of Toronto chapter, is a student organization that aims to further gender equity within the law and connect female students and alumni within the Toronto legal community. Women & the Law is committed to addressing three ways in which women and the law intersect: women at the law school, women in the legal profession and women affected by the law. The University of Toronto club objectives are to provide networking opportunities to women in law school with each other as well as women in the legal profession; to educate female students about career opportunities in the legal profession; and increase awareness and discussion about the way the women in society are affected by the law.
