Smart & Biggar welcomes delegates of FICPI World Congress to Toronto, Canada

This year’s World Congress, which takes place only every three years, will explore the inevitability of change – especially surrounding technology and its effect on IP practitioners.

Smart & Biggar is pleased to sponsor the conference, and partner John Knox, President of FICPI Canada, will join colleagues in Toronto to host a reception for delegates during the Congress. The firm will be rolling out the red carpet at Montecito Restaurant – hot spot to the stars during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) — and co-owned by Hollywood director Ivan Reitman (Stripes, Ghostbusters, Six Days Seven Nights, Twins), in Toronto’s film and entertainment district.
