Smart & Biggar to host the 2017 AIPLA Women in IP Global Networking events in Toronto, Calgary, and Montreal

Smart & Biggar is proud to host the 2017 AIPLA Women in IP Global Networking events in Toronto, Calgary, and Montreal on May 4, 2017.

An initiative led by the AIPLA to inspire and empower women in IP to reach their full potential, these events will be occurring on the same day across 59 cities worldwide. This year, the events are honouring the theme of International Women’s Day – Be bold for change.

Toronto:

Smart & Biggar’s Toronto partners Keltie Sim Luft, Yoon Kang and Nancy Pei will host an interactive evening at the Arcadian Studio while the chefs of Oliver & Bonacini showcase a culinary demonstration featuring bold and exciting flavours for Spring!  

Calgary:

In Calgary, Smart & Biggar’s Daphne Lainson and Lisa Thorne play host to women in IP and law at a networking dinner in the Opera Room featuring an exciting tasting menu designed exclusively by the chefs at Teatro

Montreal:

Smart & Biggar’s Montreal partners Ekaterina Tsimberis and Brigide Mattar will host an exclusive dinner in Little Italy at Primo&Secondo featuring the culinary ‘Art’ of chef Roberto Stabile and a bold selection of wines made exclusively by women wine producers from Italy.

This year, Smart & Biggar’s events are honouring the theme of International Women’s Day – Be bold for change – and will carry this theme across all cities in Canada.
