Smart & Biggar supports local female entrepreneurs at the SoGal Summit & Global Pitch Competition Finals in Silicon Valley

Senior associate Jamie-Lynn Kraft will travel to California to attend The SoGal Summit & Global Pitch Competition Finals on February 29th, as part of the SoGal Ottawa delegation.

Jamie-Lynn will accompany three founders from the Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec region — Elizabeth Audette-Bourdeau of Welbi, Sarah Abood of Thawrih (both former Bootstrap Award winners) and Andria Santos of Fulhaus — to Silicon Valley as an advisor and representative of Smart & Biggar, an official sponsor of the SoGal Ottawa team.

Elizabeth Audette-Bourdeau, Sarah Abood and Andria Santos are among 150 women and diverse founders sourced from over 1,700 start-up applications globally and 25 regional round pitch competitions across five continents who will gather in Silicon Valley this weekend. Each founder will participate in the final round of the SoGal Global Pitch Competition Finals, the largest global pitch competition for underrepresented entrepreneurs, as well as participate in a 3-day immersive start-up bootcamp.

Smart & Biggar is proud to be a sponsor of the SoGal Ottawa team and support the efforts of underrepresented start-up entrepreneurs, founders and innovators in our local communities.

SoGal is the largest global platform for the education and empowerment of diverse entrepreneurs and investors. Their mission is to close the diversity gap in entrepreneurship and venture capital.
