Smart & Biggar hosts ACC Alberta for a discussion on managing IP for in-house counsel

On Thursday, November 21, 2019, Smart & Biggar’s Calgary office will host the Alberta chapter of the Association of Corporate Council (ACC) for a panel discussion on “Managing an IP Portfolio for in-house Counsel”.

The event will take place at the Petroleum Club and cover the importance of IP portfolio management and IP strategies relevant to in-house Counsel. Speakers include Rob Fraser (Molecular You), Geoffrey Gow (Husky Injection Molding Systems), and Tom Trinh, counsel from Smart & Biggar. Robert Holthus, from Smart & Biggar’s Calgary office, will take the role of moderator.

Panel participants will draw on their experience and expertise in intellectual property to provide opinions and advice on leveraging, commercializing and enforcing a brand’s IP assets.

Speaker presentations and panel discussion will include Q&A from the audience, and will be accompanied by lunch and networking.
